Maths Update Term 3 Week 2.

Hi guys,

Here is a maths update for week 2. Recently, we have received our test results from our test that we did a week ago. My new goal is to: Explain the meaning of digits in any whole number. I can't give you my Success Criteria, because I haven't had a teacher session.

PAL's Update, Term 3 Week 2

Hi guys,
I haven't blogged about PAL's at any time, this year, so I thought I should give you an update on what I am doing in PAL's. To be truthful, I didn't do my PAL's duty for the whole of the first and second term this year, but now, I am doing my duty every time. I think I am doing well in this role, because I am making an effort to turn up to my role and do it well. The last time I did my role, I played Duck, Duck, Goose with the Kakano team (Juniors) and Octopus.

Reading Update

Hi guys,

Here is a quick update on my learning in reading. As a new term starts, so does my new goals. My new goal for reading is to identify the main ideas' in the text by using conventional publishing features. I know, it just sounds like jibber isn doesn't it? But what it really means is to understand the main idea, by looking at publishing features like why would only part of a tile be enlarged? Here is a picture of my latest work.

Maths Update

Hi guys,

I haven't been doing much blogging recently, so I thought that I would give you an update on my learning in maths. Yesterday we completed a test on measurement. What we had to do was go over the same test that we completed last term, but we had to correct our answers. Leading up to the test we had to practice or revise what we had learn't.  We had the option to either practice on IXL or practice textbook activities.

Writing Update Term 3 Week 1

Hi Guys,
So as a new term starts, so does our new goals. In my class, one thing as a whole class we need to work on is, punctuation. So we got to choose two new goals for this term. One personal goal, and one punctuation goal. My punctuation goal is going to master Advanced Punctuation. E.g ! " " ' ' : ;    . My personal goal is to focus on being able to generate more Ideas', much more quickly and efficiently. Also another thing that I want to focus on in Ideas, is to be able to organise my ideas' better. I haven't blogged in a while so I thought it was best to give you an update on what I have been learning and focussing on. Enjoy term 3!
